SUMMARY:2025–2028 National Circular Economy Strategy and Action Plan
DESCRIPTION: \nPrepared by the Ministry of Environment\, Urbanization\, an
 d Climate Change\, the 2025–2028 National Circular Economy Strategy and A
 ction Plan has been published in the Official Gazette and has officially en
 tered into force.\nThe strategy aims to increase resource efficiency\, redu
 ce waste generation\, and accelerate the transition to sustainable producti
 on and consumption models.\nWithin the scope of the Plan\, seven priority s
 ectors have been identified: packaging\, batteries–vehicles\, constructio
 n–buildings\, electronics–ICT\, food–biomass\, plastics\, and textile
 s.\nA total of 53 actions will be implemented across these sectors\, and ne
 w practices aligned with circular economy principles will be developed nati
 onwide.\nPrepared in line with Türkiye’s 2053 Net Zero Emissions target\
 , this Plan represents an important step toward an environmentally and econ
 omically sustainable future.\nAs the Istanbul Medipol University Sustainabl
 e Development Application and Research Center\, we actively contribute to t
 his transformation through our Circular Economy Working Group. We conduct r
 esearch on circular production models\, waste management\, resource efficie
 ncy\, and sustainable consumption\, and support national-level policies and
  practices through education\, awareness-raising\, and collaboration projec
