SUMMARY:The Sustainability and Twin Transformation Center Was Introduced
DESCRIPTION: \nThe Center was implemented under the leadership of the Ista
 nbul Medipol University Sustainable Development and Twin Transformation App
 lication and Research Center (SURKAM)\, in partnership with the Digital and
  Sustainable Future Association (DİSÜDER) and with the support of the Ist
 anbul Development Agency (İSTKA).\nThis gathering\, enriched with comprehe
 nsive knowledge sharing on the impacts of green and digital transformation 
 on industry\, development\, and human capital\, brought together representa
 tives from the public sector\, private sector\, academia\, and civil societ
 y organizations.\nDeputy Governor of Istanbul\, Cengiz Karabulut\, emphasiz
 ed the importance of leading digital and green transformation processes\;\n
 Rector Prof. Dr. Bahadır Kürşat Güntürk shared insights on the broad s
 cope of sustainability and the necessity of acting with a collective mindse
 t.\nİSTKA Secretary General Dr. Ziya Taşkent underlined that sustainable 
 competitiveness can no longer be achieved solely through low-cost productio
 n\, but through clean\, transparent\, and digital processes.\nSURKAM Direct
 or Prof. Dr. Rana Atabay Kuşçu detailed the Center’s objectives\, inclu
 ding green and digital transformation roadmaps for companies and individual
 s\, as well as sustainability training programs.\nIn the panel session mode
 rated by SURKAM Director Prof. Dr. Rana Atabay Kuşçu\, with the participa
 tion of Yusuf Turhan\, Sustainability Manager at MEXT\, and Prof. Dr. Ece 
 Ümmü Deveci\, Faculty Member at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University\, sust
 ainability and twin transformation processes were discussed from both acade
 mic and sectoral perspectives.\nWe are moving forward with determination to
 gether with our stakeholders on this transformation journey that shapes the
  future.
