SUMMARY:Balancing the COP31 Simulation Event within the Gold Standard Verif
 ication Standards
DESCRIPTION:As the Istanbul Medipol University Sustainable Development and 
 Twin Transition Application and Research Center (SURKAM)\, we are pleased t
 o announce that the carbon footprint of the #COP31 #Simulation event we org
 anized on May 2\, 2026\, has been offset in accordance with Gold Standard v
 erification standards.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAs a result of the measurement and 
 offsetting activities undertaken\, the #emissions generated during our even
 t were offset against 11 tons of #CO2 and certified as "#carbon #neutral" i
 n accordance with international standards. This development demonstrates th
 at our approach to #sustainability goes beyond mere concepts\, evolving int
 o a mindset that is supported by concrete data\, monitored\, and put into p
 ractice.\nWe thank our event climate sponsor\, Sustainabilios\, for their t
 echnical support and expert contributions to the #carbon #offsetting proces
 s.\nThe COP31 simulation was a meaningful example not only in terms of disc
 ussions on #climate policies\, global cooperation\, and a vision for a sust
 ainable future\, but also in terms of integrating environmental responsibil
 ity into event processes.\nAs Medipol SURKAM\, we continue to view sustaina
 bility not just as a future goal\, but as a fundamental part of our corpora
