SUMMARY:Collaboration Visit from SURKAM to Beykoz Municipality
DESCRIPTION:As Istanbul Medipol University Sustainable Development and Twin
  Transition Application and Research Center (SURKAM)\, we visited the Beyko
 z Municipality Directorate of Climate Change and Zero Waste.\nSURKAM Direct
 or Prof. Dr. Rana Atabay Kuşçu and Deputy Director Assist. Prof. Dr. Elif
  Yurtoğlu Pek met with Engin Çelik\, Director of the Beykoz Municipality 
 Directorate of Climate Change and Zero Waste\, and engineers working within
  the directorate.\n🌍 During the meeting\, potential joint activities tha
 t could be developed in the fields of climate change\, zero waste\, sustain
 able urbanization\, environmental awareness\, education\, and social partic
 ipation were evaluated.\n🤝 With the aim of contributing to Beykoz’s su
 stainable future\, ideas were exchanged on measurable projects that could c
 reate local impact in line with SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
