SUMMARY:We Attended TIM’s “Green Transformation of Exports” Launch
DESCRIPTION:The launch of the "Green Transformation of Exports" by the Turk
 ish Exporters Assembly (TIM) led to valuable information sharing. Our unive
 rsity was represented by Istanbul Medipol University Sustainable Developmen
 t Application and Research Center Director Prof. Dr. Rana Atabay Kuşçu\, 
 at this event which also hosted TUBITAK President Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal an
 d directors of various universities' Sustainability Centers.\nThe formation
  and operation of the GreenTIM Platform will provide significant contributi
 ons and convenience to exporters. Before the Carbon Border Adjustment Mecha
 nism (CBAM) comes into effect in 2026\, exporters will be offered the oppor
 tunity to calculate and report their carbon footprint for free. GreenTIM wi
 ll also serve as a platform where exporters can view their facilities\, gre
 enhouse gas emission results\, comparison tables\, and examine reports and 
 documents related to the European Green Deal. The common goal of new cooper
 ation opportunities and efforts is a sustainable future.
