As the Sustainable Development Practice and Research Center (SURKAM) of Istanbul Medipol University, we are pleased to invite you to the Circular Economy Summit, organized in collaboration with the Istanbul Minerals and Metals Exporters’ Associations (IMMIB) and the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO)!

The opening speech will be delivered by Halil Hasar, Head of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change.

During the summit, Gulberk Ertap Kaya, Head of the Sustainability and Coordination Department at ISO, will join leading figures from the industry and academia in the ISO
session, while Dr. Selahattin Armağan Vurdu, Secretary General of IMMIB, will participate in the IMMIB session.

Alongside the summit, in the corridor opposite the 2nd Floor Conference Hall, we will host an upcycling workshop prepared with the contributions of Sculptor Uğur Cinel and Dr. Yazgı Badem Aksoy, where participants can create seed balls and take part in other interactive activities.
