As Istanbul Medipol University, we are pleased to announce that the carbon footprint of the METAHack Sustainathon 2025, held on 12–13 December 2025, has been offset in accordance with Gold Standard verification standards.

With this certification, our event has been officially registered as “carbon neutral” at the international level, clearly demonstrating that sustainability has moved beyond discourse and has become a measurable, verified, and managed institutional practice.
