Within the scope of the Sustainability and Twin Transition Center Project supported by the Istanbul Development Agency (İSTKA), a corporate visit was conducted to Mete Plastik as part of the field studies carried out by Istanbul Medipol University Sustainable Development and Twin Transition Application and Research Center (SURKAM).

♻️ During the visit, a general sustainability training was provided to company representatives, while the institution’s current sustainability activities and future goals were evaluated.

In addition, the materiality analysis process, which will form the basis of the GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) reports planned to be prepared in accordance with global standards, was discussed.

In this regard, views were exchanged on identifying the institution’s priority environmental, social, and governance issues and developing its sustainability strategy.
