Significant Step for the Green Transformation of Industry!
The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and the Credit Registration Office (KKB) signed a Data Sharing Protocol Regarding Environmental Performance.

Minister Murat Kurum stated that the “Green Transformation in Industry” regulation has ushered in a new era in environmentally friendly production, emphasizing that industrialists who receive Class A certification will gain greater prestige in the international market.

The new regulation will classify 6,000 facilities, prioritizing energy and resource efficiency. As part of Turkey’s alignment with the European Green Deal, the carbon footprint of Turkey’s exports will become even more critical.
This step will strengthen the environmental performance of industrialists and create new business lines and areas of expertise.

Prof. Dr. Rana Atabay Kuşçu, Director of the Sustainable Development Application and Research Center (Medipol SURKAM), also attended this important meeting at the invitation of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.
