Representing Istanbul Medipol University at the Global Sustainable Development Congress

The Global Sustainable Development Congress, organized annually by Times Higher Education (THE)—a UK-based institution conducting global research and publishing reports on higher education—brought together leading universities from around the world.

Representing Istanbul Medipol University, the event was attended by Prof. Dr. Rana Atabay Kuşçu, Director of the Sustainable Development Application and Research Center (SURKAM); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Öznur Gülen Ertosun, Deputy Director of SURKAM; Asst. Prof. Dr. Duygu Öztürk, Leader of the SURKAM Gender Equality Working Group; and Asst. Prof. Dr. Yasemin Çiçekçisoy Kaya, Erasmus Institutional Coordinator.

During the congress, the THE Impact 2025 results were also announced. Out of 2,526 institutions from 130 countries, Istanbul Medipol University achieved a higher ranking than the previous year, placing in the 601–800 band in the overall global impact ranking.
