The project titled “Sustainability and Twin Transition Center,” led by Prof. Dr. Rana Atabay Kuşçu, Director of the Sustainable Development Application and Research Center (SURKAM), has been awarded support under the Twin Transition Financial Support Program of the Istanbul Development Agency (ISTKA).

Through this project, it is aimed to:

Enhance the green and digital transformation capacities of SMEs operating in Istanbul’s plastic production sector,

Conduct carbon footprint measurements, digital maturity analyses, and energy efficiency reports,
Prepare GRI-based sustainability reports in line with international standards.

The established center will serve as a permanent structure, offering consultancy and training services not only to the plastics industry but also to various other sectors.
