The Advisory Board of the Sustainable Development Application and Research Center (SURKAM) came together for an opening and introduction meeting. In the meeting where Istanbul Medipol University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Recep Öztürk gave a speech and SURKAM Director Prof. Dr. Rana Atabay Kuşçu made introductory presentations about SURKAM and Istanbul Medipol University, valuable names also took part as advisory board members.

The advisory board members include Adlera Group CEO Pauline Seyfert, Turkish Republic Strategy and Budget Office Advisor Arzu Önsal, SKD Turkey General Secretary Konca Çalkıvik, UN SDSN Co-Chair Dr. Tamer Atabarut, UN Global Compact Network Turkey General Secretary Melda Çele, EnerjiSA Production Deputy General Manager Emre Erdoğan, Istanbul Medipol University IKLIMER Director Prof. Dr. Zekai Şen, Istanbul Medipol University Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Recep Öztürk, GOSB Technopark General Manager Prof. Dr. Murat Çemberci, and SIM Consultancy Founder Ülkü Özeren.

During the meeting, potential collaborations with board members and stakeholders were evaluated, recommendations for developing the sustainable university concept were discussed, and steps were taken for sustainable efforts.
