As 2025 comes to a close, a period has been left behind in which the themes of sustainable development and twin transformation have become more prominent on a global scale in terms of implementation, governance, and impact. Throughout the year, the climate crisis, energy transition, sustainability reporting, and structural changes in climate policies have been among the main determinants of the international agenda.

The Sustainable Development and Twin Transformation Application and Research Center Bulletin addresses the key sustainability developments, policy frameworks, and implementation examples that stood out in Türkiye and around the world throughout 2025 from a holistic perspective. The global sustainability agenda is evaluated together with the academic studies, events, and social contribution activities carried out within Istanbul Medipol University in this bulletin.

Published at the beginning of a new year, this bulletin aims not only to provide an assessment of the year left behind, but also to establish a shared platform for collective thinking and production in the field of sustainable development and twin transformation in the period ahead.
