The “Sustainable Development Goals Training in Academia,” to be conducted by the Istanbul Medipol University Sustainable Development and Twin Transition Application and Research Center (SURKAM), aims to help academic staff integrate a sustainability perspective into their education, research, and project processes.
The program will focus on topics such as the role of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in higher education, how they can be integrated into course content, and how they can be addressed in research and projects. A comprehensive framework regarding the importance of a sustainability-oriented transformation in academia will be presented.
