🌍 According to the progress chart included in the report, at the current pace, none of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals are expected to be fully achieved by 2030. Globally, only 16.5% of the SDG targets are on track, while limited progress is observed in 67% of the targets and regression in approximately 16%.

📊 In the 2026 SDG Index, Finland ranks first with a score of 87.4, while Türkiye ranks 77th among 169 countries with a score of 70.2. This result shows that Türkiye has made progress in the field of sustainable development; however, the need for improvement continues in areas such as climate action, responsible production and consumption, ecosystem protection, and strengthening institutional capacity.

📌 The findings of the report once again emphasize that setting targets alone is not sufficient to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals; implementation capacity, financing mechanisms, data-based monitoring, and international cooperation need to be strengthened.

As 2030 approaches, taking faster, more inclusive, and holistic steps toward sustainable development is critically important.
