As part of the Sustainability and Twin Transition Center Project supported by the Istanbul Development Agency (İSTKA), we completed another session of our training series organized in cooperation with the Digital and Sustainable Future Association (DİSÜDER) and Istanbul Medipol University Sustainable Development and Twin Transition Application and Research Center (SURKAM).

🎙️ In the training titled “Carbon Footprint, Energy Efficiency, and Resource Management,” delivered with the participation of Erbil Büyükbay, the calculation and reduction of carbon footprints, the strategic importance of energy efficiency for institutions, and the role of resource management in sustainable transformation processes were discussed.

During the training, current practices were used to evaluate the monitoring of carbon emissions, optimization of energy consumption, and efficient use of resources in order to help institutions manage their environmental impacts more effectively.

In addition, the importance of measurement, reporting, and continuous improvement approaches in achieving sustainability goals was shared with the participants.

Our training series, in which we will address different dimensions of twin transition and sustainability, will continue with new sessions.
