In recent months, the UN SDSN (United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network) meeting was hosted by Boğaziçi University, focusing on ongoing initiatives and best practices in the field of sustainable development.

At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Öznur Gülen Ertosun, Deputy Director of the Istanbul Medipol University Sustainable Development Application and Research Center (SURKAM), represented the university and delivered a comprehensive presentation on the center’s activities.

The presentation highlighted SURKAM’s research, education, social awareness, and collaboration efforts carried out in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). A holistic approach emphasizing the interaction between university, society, and civil organizations was shared with participants. Within this framework, the center’s contributions to the advancement of the SDGs at both national and international levels were underlined.
